(1) A large Archaic P.P. conforms to an Elko Corner–notched P.P. Straight blade margins,
expansion to stem, flat base. 4.8cm. long, 2.81cm. wide, 0.50cm. thick. Yellowish–
brown chert. Morgan Madison?
(2) Distal(?) end of a large biface blade. Stage V. Gray chert. Very thin. 9.12cm. long
6,73cm wide, 0.73cm. thick.
(3) Desert side–notched P.P. Serrated blade margins. Bridger chert. 2.12cm. long. 1.44cm.
thick.
(4) Six ceramic sherds. Coars temper & wiped finish. Naze suggests Intermountain Tradition
Ware. MISSING.
(5) Proximal 1/2 of a hafted knife. Shoshonean knife?–P.B. Slender blade, w / a shouldered
hafting element, straight base. Lenticular in cross section. Tan ortoquartzite. 5.01cm.
long , 2.21cm. wide, 0.62cm. thick.
(6) Obsidian sample. flake tool. Sourced to Mineral Mountains of Utah. Curated in Obsidian
Study collection.
(7) Two ceramic sherds. Sand temper. MISSING.
(8) Ceramic sherds. MISSING.
(9) Bifasce knife. One edge is shouldered while the same portionof the opposite edge is
heavily ground. Blade is like a parallelogram in cross section. A hafted knife? Dark
gray oolitic chert. 8.61cm. long, 3.53cm. wide, 0.70cm. thick.
(10) Long bifac blade, Stage V. One end is rounded and the other is pointed. Bridbger chert.
13.2cm. l ong, 4.2cm. wide, 0.89cm. thick.
(11) Proximal 2/3 of a Desert Side notched P.P. Obsidian. Missing distal end and one ear
of base, and notch. Curated in Obsidian Study Box. 1.57cm. long, 1.32cm. wide,
0.325cm. thick.
(12) "Shouldered biface". P.B. thinks it is a Shoshonean knife. Proximal 2/3 only. Blade
expands to a "bulge" or shoulder and then contracts to a rounded proximal end. Bridger
chert.
(13) 6 cermaic sherds. MISSING.
(14) 1 piece of debitage. Obsidian. In Obsidian Study Collection.
