Originally curated at Mesa College.

(1) Distal majority of a Paleoindian P.P. No base. shows parallel oblique flaking. Tip
has been worn some. Clear chalcedony. Foothills–Mountian tradition. 5.6cm. long,
2.6cm. wide, 0.58cm. thick. Eliptical in cross section .
(2) Crude flake tool. Majority of flaking on dorsal surface. Platform and bulb of percussion
present. Lt. gray chert. 4.1cm. long, 3.7cm. wide, 1.3cm. thick.
(3) Stage I–II biface, chopping tool. Edge shows some step flaking. White chert.
(Kremmling?).
(4) Biface small circular chopping tool. Made on a primary flake. Step flakes on ventral surface.
(5) About a Stage II viface frag. White chert.

VE Exhibit Label 1:
The top portion of a Foothills–Mountian tradition projectile point made of clear chalcedony. This type of point is catagorized by its absent shoulders and its parrellel sides that taper towards the top portion of the point to meet at the tip.
