Description:
(1) 16 ceramic sherds. documents state that they were collected. As of this date, 4–17–07,
they are MISSING See documents for description.
(2) 4 ceramic sherds. Same as above.
(3) Rose Spring style P.P. Missing distal 1/3 and one shoulder and the tip of one ear of the
base. Gray chert. 1.86cm. long, 1.71cm. wide, 0.34cm. thick.
(4) End scraper w / constricted lateral edges. Retouch flaking all the way around. Very light
orange chert w / black inclusions. Morgan formation.

VE Exhibit Label 1:
An end scraper with narrowing edges made of orange chert. Scrapers were commonally used in the preperation of animal hides as well as in the working of wood and bone. This artifact shoes signs of retouching all the way around.
