(1) "Shoshone Bird Point." Looks like a small, crude, Rose Spring P.P. Redchertr–P.B. Tip
missing.
(2) Highly polished stone of banded multi–shasdes of red. Opaque chert. Gizzaard stone?–P.B.
Some battering on small end.
(4) Stage II biface. Gray, white, tan chert of poor quality.
(6) "Small projectile point preform." Proximal end, rounded. Vwery dark blue chert.
(7) Archaic siaed corner–notched P.P. Identified as "similar to Type P20 of Pinon Canyon
Maneuver Site." Looks to P.B. like a Horsefly Phase of the Uncompahgre Complex P.P.
Dark purple chert. Missing one tang of base. One tiny flake missing from the tip due to
impact fractue.
(10) Small Rosegate P.P. w / tiny piece of tip missing. A gray chert. 2.5 cm. long, 1.1 cm. wide,
0.3 cm. thick.
(11) A Stage III bifasce. It was a rounded triangular shapedpiece, but part of one margin has
been broken out. Gray & brown chert.
(18) "Similar to Gypsum Cave type." P.B. thinks it is risky to identify a piece sobadly fragmented.
Quartz. Missing distal end, one shoulder and part of base.
